Hi Everyone,
I do a lot of volunteering and I am always looking for unique and fun ways to raise money. Could you share your ideas with me? Thanks
Answer: you could go to a car-boot sale and buy loads of melons and let people pay money to smash them up and trust me you will get a lot of people! wanting to take out stress. especially in the credit crunch!

Fundraising Ideas For Schools Canada

Question: ideas for a fundraising event for a school group?
i have to put an awesome fund raising idea on a application to go on this trip with my school to somewhere in Canada! i really want to go and have a awesome idea for a fund raising event!!
please help!! any suggestions would be awesome!
Answer: List of ideas
Community dance or dance off (You know in the movie Grease where they have certain rules they have to follow and if they are broken then they are out or you could have it to wear there is dance teams going up against one another like Stomp the yard) or just a plain dance
You could have like a movie night where people pay so much to get in but have it cheaper than the local theaters and some refreshments.
Have a Carnival at your school sell raffle tickets. Make sure you get local businesses to contribute the prizes so you wont go in the hole.
Car washes always go pretty good especially in the spring and summer times.
Candy is always a good bet but its not very creative.
Have a talent contest where everyone has to pay to get in... like a dollar or something and make sure its in the daytime when you are suppose to have school so it guarantees that almost everyone will be there.
Well for Mother's day you guys could sell flowers or something like that. I dont know when this trip is so i dont know how long you have to come up with something.
This is kind of odd but if you can get some volunteers you can have like an auction of people... maybe your teachers? or some good students that people trust? And people pay for them to come to there homes and do what they want.. house work or maybe if a teacher buys a student they have to clean the classroom or something like that.
Its getting harder for me to come up with some now lol

Donations From Walmart
Donations From Walmart

Question: Are there peddler’s at your local Walmart?
Every Saturday it seems like there are at the one in my town. They set up shop at both main entrances. Sometimes it’s guys wearing funny hats, some kid selling candy bars, or some guy claiming he’s taking donations for the military. I find it to be a nuisance. I just wanna get some chimichangas and some Ben and Jerry’s. I wonder if I can call them to see if they can put a stop to this.
Answer: Wonder no longer - of course you can call them and ask them to put a stop to it. Find the number on their web site and tell them what you think. Or next time you are there, ask a guard if they have permission to be there. Walmart may allow charities to conduct sales at the entrance to provide assistance to those charities. But if they don't have approval, they could be immediately removed.

Income Tax Planning 2009
Income Tax Planning 2009

Question: How would the economy react if Income Taxes were 0% for 2008, Interest Rates 0.5% ….?
But then in 2009 interest rates will go back to where they are now, and the taxrate will jump up to 1990s-taxrates.
The government would plan on eventually recovering from the taxless 2008 year with 40% rates every year on after, excluding 2008.
Would the short-term relief boost the economy, or would the tax increases for 2009 and after affect the current stock market already?
My prediction:Immediate short-term: rapid increases in consumer spending, borrowing, investing
A few weeks later: Inflation on the increase, rising prices. Artificially overvalued stock prices. No safe investment.
Eventually: Stock market peaks and plateaus. Fear of market turnaround forces investors to withdraw from market, sharp decline.
Nowhere to go, problem out of Government control, high inflation, no bond market, no stock market, no savings.
Answer: Considering there would be a mad rush to cash out of our treasuries because we'd be printing money to pay all of our bills, and it would scare the crap out of everybody, hyperinflation and economic devastation.

Fundraising Projects For Kids
Fundraising Projects For Kids

Question: World Challenge fundraising ideas?
This summer coming a trip has been organised through my school with Word Challenge. I will be spending a month in India doing projects in the northern part of india likely to be with school kids. during this time i will also be spending 12 days on expedition up the Himilayas.
For this i have to raise £3250 plus an extra £750 for kit and vaccinations.
I am falling behind with the monthly payments even though i have taken up a saturday job and a morning paper round.
i still have over well over half of this money still left to pay.
Any fundraising ideas that could possibly make me a little bit of money to help keep up with payments (or if you have a multimillion pound business idea lying around i’m happy to oblige)
grateful for any suggestions.
Answer: Yet another one of these "fund raising" ideas where the fund raiser him/herself have to fork out loads of cash in order to do this fund raising.
I get the feeling that somebody is being taken for a ride - and I don't just mean to Northern India......
